We Mortal Instruments fans have been looking for movie news these days, and we got some, but not the kind we want. Screen Gems has dropped the City of Bones film. Those who own the rights may be looking for another studio to pick it up. But never fear! Cassandra Clare herself has stated:
Really, this makes no difference to anything. I know words like ‘dropped’ sound shocking and horrifying but in this context, it doesn’t mean much. I talked to Constantin last week and actually gave them a list of actors I liked for Simon (because why not?), and they gave me a schedule they expected to start filming by (August.)
Still, we are very much without even a full cast to make graphics with. If it helps, Cassie has posted a couple little scenes for a Valentine’s Day treat! :)
